I don't think the longer than typical bottle age has caused this wine any harm. It is slightly austere, and a little crisp for what I view as typical for Viognier, but still a serviceable, clean, well made wine. The color is golden hue clear. The nose is not as floral as expected. It shows some mineral earthiness, with some tropical fruit, and lemon. Fairly light and elegant as it crosses the lips. Quite crisp on the roof of the mouth. More lemon and grapefruit than sweet tropical fruits. Medium plus bodied. The viscosity is pure Viognier. Some time in the glass brings out some honeysuckle, and some oily structure. Dry crisp honeydew finish. Not what I expected, but as an after thought, this wine would pair easily with food, when most of the time Viognier is a challenging food pairing.

Light gold color. Floral nose with orange blossom. Light in the mouth with several layers of flavors. Grapefruit and pear with slight hints of candied ginger. Nice round feel in the mouth with an enduring finish.

I normally like this wine, but think it was past it's drinkable date. It seems to have gone flat

Wines of France Tasting (Binny's, St. Charles): Floral and spice notes lead to a slightly creamy palate, dominated by white fruit and peach tones.
