Final notes for this wine...until I can get more. While these aren't the best wines I've had, they are the best for the price. They're good enough that I actually enjoy them, and cheap enough to be consumed guilt-free. The best sub $10 Cab based wine I've come across.
It's been a few months since my last bottle of this, and those few months have been good for it. Essentially the wine is the same as before but just a bit softer. There's still plenty of dark berries on the palate, just not quite as pronounced.
Drinking it on it's own, the acid started to get to me, but as soon as I had a bite of mildy spicy lean meat the acid vanished and I was left with a wine that was great with the meal.
