Youthfully red. Tobacco, cedar, grilled herbs on the nose. This started off earthy and savory but after an hour this blew off and the tart cherry came alive and the savory earthiness softened, integrated and added to the complexity. After two more hours it developed some raisen and ripe plum flavors. For my last bottle it might be fun to taste I it against a 1990 Bordeaux blindly.

Reddish purple in color. Needed at least an hour. Plums, raisin, camphor and warm pancake syrup on the nose. Tannins are very soft, some secondary savory flavors, ripe plum and black cherry fruit. Some pomegranate tartness and fruitcake on the finish. Almost gave up on it but with enough time and air it became very enjoyable . Cork was in good shape. Would not see any benefit to further aging.

Classic Bordeaux style. Dark plums, tart berries, and some earth. A hint of savoriness. Simple and delivers just enough.
