Light yellow. Nose is herbaceous and gooseberry. Crisp. Could mistake this for NZ sauv blanc. I do not get anything from the Semillon, but perhaps with a few years in the bottle... Wouldn't pay full price for this again.

Enjoyed this at a group lunch in a city restaurant. it was served alongside the starters.
Clear colour, almost colourless. (Very apparent when compared to the Chardonnay which was poured as an alternative)
Nose was very much a Sauvignon Blanc nose, but tempered by the Semillon. I am not a great fan of Sauvignon Blanc but this wine was very good.
On the palate it had bracing rapier like acidity, which ran all the way back along the tongue.
It would have been a perfect match with natural oysters or a simple prawn dish.
