  I liked the dryness to this and the acidity, but it was lacking flavors. Reminded me of Cherry 7up that has been sitting out for a week. ($12)

  dark salmon color. darker than 90% of the roses i've had. nose shows cranberries, strawberries and some tobacco leaf. medium+ bodied with spicy acid. medium- tannins. has bright cherries, strawberries and mango fruit laced with hints of black pepper, tobacco and toast. quite complex, but still a really easy drinking rose. don't know the make-up of this, but i'd wager there's some cab and sangiovese in there. fun stuff. spectacular pairing with grilled mahi mahi, grilled eggplant and jersey sweet corn on the cob.
