Frankie Valli at Ravinia (Ravinia Music): Bright color for an Otago Pinot which I usually experience heavier and dense colors, lots of berry fruit, bright, good palate feel and quite tasty.

NobleRottersSydney - Pinot Noir (Verde, East Sydney): {screwcap, 14%} (Stephen) Surprisingly aged nose well into its declining throes, it seemed. Fungal, bacterial aromas. This doesn’t blow off; an animal quality dominates the palate; which is flat and short, devoid of tannin. Ultimately this is drinkable, but in a disappointing way, and surely not the way the makers intended.

Nose is soft and fragrant and very much in the sweetish cherry zone (but not dumb). Palate is firm and doesn't give much away. Held down with oak. Not particularly friendly but is very young.

Central Otago Pinot Noir Expo (Prince Wine Store - Bank Street): A nose of dark cherry, chocolate and burgundian funky barnyard and a muscular tannin palette with fresh bright acidity, a big mouthfeel and a powerful long finish.

Stalks and cola on the nose. Palate is medium bodied and more savoury. There isn't much depth or generosity but it is fine to drink.
