Has really smoothed out and become more integrated in only four months. Oak no longer dominates, but gives the wine some roundness and just a little vanilla. Predominant sensation on the nose and palate is melons, with a hint of sweetness and a nice long, acidic finish.

Lots of pineapple, but a little disjointed and dominated right now by oak. Needs a little more time in the bottle for the oak to settle down and for the components to integrate. Varietally correct; should evolve into top shelf sauvignon blanc.

Consistent with last bottle. Round and full, lotsa melon, enough acid to be food-friendly, but not too astringent.

Vintners Wine Market (Fort Mason, San Francisco): Good acidity, good weight, but lacking in fruit.
