  Definitely maturing into a beautiful wine. The bold Luden's cherry of this wine when it was young, has softened into a luscious blend of ripe cherries and deep earthy notes, with hints of spices and leather to give it a complex profile that Burgundy lovers will, well ... love! I think it will gain some more in the next few years, but is a joy to drink right now. I have one more bottle and really wish I had gotten more - a lot more!

  An excellent wine that's aging well. Still lots of fruit, but gaining complexity and earthy notes. Just coming into its own and should improve for several years. Wish I had gotten more of this!

  Scarlet, very smooth but the fruit is beginning to fade. Glad I drank this now before it was really past it. Not nearly the hedonistic experience when I first tasted these 8 years ago; much more intellectual.
