  • Pale lemon yellow.
A rather weird nose reminiscent to gas leak. Picked up some urea, rubber, citrus, chalk, apple, hay and butter.
Dry and refreshing mid-bodied palatal feel with banana yoghurt and slight nuttiness. Mid-length finish with good mineral presence.
Even weirder bottle this time around. Good fun in a blind tasting.

  • A curious nose with some volatile character. Slightly oxidated apples, varnish, hot-setting adhesive (yep), hash and mink farm stench.
Dry, light and just slightly fruity with some estery sweetness and refreshing acidity. A tad oily feel with a serious mineral foundation and nice notes of meadow flowers as well some minor touches of all that weird stuff. Lengthy though rather straightforward.
A fun wine. A serious wine.

  • Very light golden. This wine had the most impressive smell of sweaty socks (and lots of them) soaked in nutty-cheesy-sour brine and spiced with white pepper. Light in body, almost completely tasteless apart from fresh acidity, it was more like lemon-flavoured mineral water than wine. Some reductive notes. Very mineral aftertaste was by far the best this wine had. Of course, with "natural" no sulfur approach it could well be a case of bottle variation.
