Intriguing as always. Golden-yellow in colour. Waxy, notes of honey, dried fruit on the nose. On the palate a little bitter, but overall nicely balanced, medium depth, quite long. Probably the best bottle so far. Slowly drink up. 92-94

Developed golden color. Nose is intense- with honeysuckle, vanilla, pine cones, some molasses, earl grey tea and just a touch of creaminess. Palate is fresh and vibrant even though it is definitely developed and oxidized (but in a good way). Very complex palate with medium+ acidity, stone fruit, granny smith apples, menthol, very slight lactic notes, but wine is still clean and delicious. Finishes very long and ripe with just a touch of minerality. This is damn good stuff, likely at it's peak. Drink up in the next 5 years. Wow.

This was very oxidized and so hard to evaluate. It was better with more air (really, the more the better) and then it tasted like baked apples, rancio, calvados, mushrooms, fall forest, and buttered popcorn. The heavy oxidation prevented it from matching really well with food. I have nothing to compare this too—this is my first taste of Musar Blanc—but I would like to try it younger and try other bottles to know the spectrum of flavors this wine has to offer. I just don’t know if this is what I should be expecting or not for 20 year Musar Blanc. Tried over 3 days. Best in Riedel Montrachet glass.

Deep Golden yellow - savoury straw and biscuits as well as raisiny sweetness. Lovely mouth feel, dry fruit, not sweet, soft grip, pear drops chemicals and a cleaning product… complex finish, long and rich. Great that’s it’s doing so well 20 years on
