  • Espetacular! O aroma é inacreditável, fruta viva apesar da idade, alcool bem inserido (e melhora com horas de decanter), muita especiaria e final longo. Especial

  • 70% Garnacha, Carinena, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah

Full body, deep ruby color. Intense ripe fruits and smoky wood on first attack, with aeration shows spicy and peppery notes. The palate is powerful and rich, dominant black cherry and dewberry complements by mineral notes and lingering juicy finish. Very complex and bold, not loses balance in spite the high alcohol level, gentle acidity and sweet tannins. Sure best match is meat dishes, tasted stewed poultry in eggplants and celery. Serve 16º - 20º. Completely mature and won’t improve more but will in same conditions three more years. Open half hours ahead. Drink now.

  • A blend of Grenache and several other varietals. Vivid ruby red. 2+ hours breathing. Perfume of ripe raspberries and cherries with hints of espresso. Palate equally of raspberries and cherries with a toasty, smooth finish. We plan to wait a few years before sipping another bottle. QPR surprisingly a bit out of whack.

  • The Palacios Generational Tasting (Salone di Gusto, Torino, Italy): Medium ruby-purple, ruby rim, narrow slow moving legs @ 14.5% abv. Medium developing nose of ripe red fruits, blackberries, vanilla, oak, dried meat, i.e. complex. Dry, medium(+) acidity, medium(+) body, medium(+) rather sweetish tannins, medium(+) alcohol. Medium(+) plush flavours of black cherries, red berries, black currants, vanilla, black pepper, some phenolic notes. Good balance between fruit-structure-tannins, a tad high in alcohol. Good length, warm lasting finish with elegance over power. Cellar 5+year, 90+ potential.
