  • Dark as the night, purple rim. On the nose lots of dark fruit and vitamin-like minerality. On the palate the wine ismildy spritzy (2-4 atm) dry, has very high acidity, a broad and 4-square midpalate, very firm and broad, mouth coating tannins... low ETOH. Balanced wine but quite coarse and rustic, ok length, good intensity, ok complexity. Not a ton of finesse... very full, coarse, texture... very expressive of its origin. Very unique wine... not a wine that is going to provide mass appeal but for nerds this thing is a cool and enjoyable drink. For its style quite exceptional but in general just "good" to "very good" wine with tons of points for genuineness and intellectual exploration.
