  From magnum, courtesy of our hosts. Deep ruby color. Cherry, white pepper, rose petals and more cherries; hint of fresh rhubarb too. Balanced, with tart acidity and lovely red fruit tones. 92 pts.

  Beautifully structured classic pinot in a burgundian style. Nose of soft rose petals. Light ruby in color, flavors of chocolate covered dark cherries, mocha and subtle hints of vanilla with spice. Nice long finish.

  13.6% alcohol. Surprising how light this wine was. Somewhat primary nose of black cherry and earth notes. Very pleasing mouth feel, with good concentration and texture. The fruit was very pure, but it left me wanting a bit more complexity as well as length on the finish. B+
