  Very very old world like, too much oak and alcohol, needs definitiv air, on the 2nd Day The oak Taste was smoother and not at the front.

  This is a very rustic, old world styled wine, you have to appreciate old world style to like this wine. It has a ruby red color and 13.5% alcohol, this is a medium bodied wine that will continue to improve with age at least a few more years. It gives off aromas of cedar, red fruits, earth, soy sauce and hints of floral aromas. It has a flavor profile of red berries and red currants, black licorice, all spice and cigar tobacco. It has the up front acidity and fine at the end to lead me to think it will improve with age. An absolute steal at $9.99 a bottle at Bev-Mo if you are into old world, rustic wines.

  Nose: very unique smell of Topps Baseball Trading card gum and a faint medicinal scent towards the end. Definitely smelled of 10+ year aged wine although it was ony 6 years old.
  
  Taste: subdued fruit, low in tannins, tobacco like towards the end. Overall, the taste didn't live up to what the nose promised. Nevertheless, a very interesting wine.
