  Decanted for 1 hr and it was pleasant but not inspiring, at about 3 hrs it had emerged into a very elegant, almost Burgundian style Pinot. Sweet black cherries, strawberry, hints of violets with more earthy notes just developing. Really surprised by how good this was after 2 years in the cellar

But the rich sweet fruit says not. Mouth entry is wide, fresh and sweet. Well balanced. Mid-palate shows little development, just an undertow of earthiness. Finish is unremarkable. Altogether faultless but uninspiring. Really very good at its pricepoint, though without any complexity or dynamism. 3-
