  • 8% alc., screw cap.
Colour between pale golden and golden yellow, smells of petrol, dried apricot, quince and lovage, medium body, has a slightly oily core, sweet, but not overly so, rather semidry, the second glass has a lot of acidity, which balances the residual sugar very well, in the mouth quince, lovage and a little bit of petrol, in the aftertaste dried apricot, quince, lovage and a little bit of petrol, good length (15 sec), a really good Spätlese for a fair price.

  • Every time it hits me, why am I drinking anything else than semi-sweet German Riesling? This is what made me fall in love with wine in the first place, and I always return with a big smile on my lips!

Big, very complex nose. A cascade of citrus fruit, flowers and perfumed soap, browned butter and heavy cream. On top of this layers of elegant red fruit, raspberries, redcurrants and strawberries. To make it even more complex there is a touch of herbs and spices, parsley and rosemary.
Quite sweet, but with a fresh acidity and a slight bitterness. Great Intensity and stunning length. The only part that I could take issue with is the slightly sugary sweetness, more icing sugar than fruit. A
