Pyrenees Wineries' Visit (Pyrenees, Vic): {screwcap, 13%, A$16} With 20% Tasmanian fruit, this sees some barrel-fermented material, which adds a subtle smoky note to the typical sauvignon aromas & flavours. On the palate it helps fill out the structure nicely and emphasises depth of fruit, without ever being obvious or dominating the palate. Quite subtle, and an interesting wine for the price.
