  A little bland when first opened, but developed nicely in the decanter over the next few hours. Deep purple/black colour, good nose and decent finish. We did not finish the bottle, and it was surprisingly much better the following evening, the fruit more forward, tannins lifted and a plummy flavour with low acidity and plenty of depth.

  100% Cariñena. Clear despite sediment with dark ruby colour and a purple shade. Restrained but complex on the nose and the aromas open one after the other initially with black cherries, blackberries and blackcurrants followed by an earthy minerality, dried dark fruit and elegant, spicy oak. Rich and opulent, the palate is intense with fruit and liquorice flavours leading the way to a long, stylish finish.
