Flight 1, South America, Wine 7 (blind): The wine was dark ruby in colour, with lighter coloured edges, and offered cherry, cassis, chocolate, leather, spices, clove and a hint of bell pepper on the nose. On the palate the medium-bodied wine showed cherry, cassis, chocolate, some leather and a hint of bell pepper, paired with well-integrated oak, medium-plus lively acidity, medium-plus well-integrated tannin and very good length. A very solid, Cabernet-dominated blend that delivered against its price. Drink now.

Surprisingly, this wine got much worse after 1,5 hour decanting as its smells faded almost completely. It's better to just pop and pour it. It's nice on the nose with sweet cherries, oak and vanilla. On the palate, it's medium bodied, mild tannins with silky texture and short aftertaste. I can't explain exactly what it tastes like, but it reminds me something chemical. It's not entirely bad, but I didn't enjoy the experience.

popped and poured,it seemed more pleasant this time around. It shows dark fruit,"porty" ,way too much oak(first use, french,I believe). If you have a bottle of this, drink it,it's not going to get any better.
