  • Pulled this from a friend's wine frig and we were both pleasantly surprised. Four square chard. No particular notes, just an all around pleasant wine.

  • A light gold color. Lots of lactic and mineral aromas- milk, butterscotch, metal, stone- to go along with notes of lime, peach, and pear. Retains good acid- bracing the fruit notes on the palate while keeping the buttery cream notes in balance. The fruit is open and vibrant, with smooth feel, and with finishing hints of vanilla and tropical fruit balancing out a lengthy finish. This is a pleasant surprise- hedonistic but with balance and austerity. Very nice.

  • I have seen the notes written so far, and I think folks are underestimating this wine. The slow movement of Mozart's 41st symphony is one of my favorite pieces of music and this wine reminds me of it: Tasted at room temp. Light golden color. Aromas of wet stones, vanilla, green apples, a hint of spice. On the palate, earth and mineral notes take the lead over any fruit or citrus flavors. Little or no evidence of malolactic fermentation. Excellent weight, not heavy but not light. Only in the finish did I detect vanilla notes from oak, and a touch of cinnamon. Balance is the key here, as it is with Mozart. This is not an intense wine, but it is definitely poetic. It could lead you to think; if that prospect repels you, then drink something else. This wine is completely good and I'm glad that I have another bottle left.

  • Opened with a nice nose of mixed fruits , apricots mainly, drank with a platter of sushi and it complimented the presentation of the fish

  • Westwood Country Club Annual Holiday Wine Tasting (Westwood CC, Vienna VA): Is this what it would taste like if the Sour Patch Kids made a wine? 100% sour apple candy, in a quite drinkable (but definitely not my style) kind of wine...
