I'm starting to experiment a bit w/ giving some of these Aussies a little more time to see what happens, and this has benefited over the last I had in 2011. Still drinking pretty youthfully actually, and could go a few more years, but some of the heat and jamminess, which was never terribly out of whack for this one, has smoothed out.
Deep ruby coloring. Aromas of dark and dark red fruits, burnt charcoal, and a bit of floral. Full bodied with pretty good acidity and length, and flavors of dark red fruits, licorice, and oak spice. I still prefer this for late night/after dinner sipping, but it would work well with red meat and robust charred/grilled foods.

Still drinking very well. Excellent colour. No browning on the edges. Fruit still quite fresh but a little hollow in the mid pallet. The body is medium/full. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity.

Great wine is drinking well. Full and spicy red Blend with cherry, coffee and hint of oak. (Left over from our wedding and aging well)
