I've had this wine opened for 2 weeks on Coravin. It has been one of my favorite orange wines. The color here is beautiful, almost an irridescent copper color. The wine opens up with some sherried notes, but backed by bright acidity, almost cidery. The wine is chewy, dense, almost red wine like, but the acid keeps it fresh and it is a very interesting take on the orange wine school of winemaking. I will try to post some follow up notes over the course of the bottle.

Translucent light orange color. Initial big blast of fruit, pear, and flowers. Then some oxidized flavors of caramel, almond and orange rind. Bone dry in the mouth, with a bitter but very pleasing lingering finish. Surprisingly tannic. Really good with Moules Frites, the mussels were steamed in prosecco and finished with a little cream and tarragon. Unique wine, better with food than as an apertif.

Wine Disorder OL (Slaton's place, San Francisco, California): Medium orange color with yellow lights; preserved orange, pistachio and smoky green nose; tart, pinched but complex, tangy, lightly oily, tart citrus, tart green fruit and mineral palate; medium-plus finish 92+ pts. (could age interestingly)
