Just short of being excellent, with nice soft spice and smoky plum flavors. A bit short on acidity, but overall very nice with a sausage and fennel pasta dish.

Nose: Cream. Some fruit. Herbs. Taste: This is the oakiest, fruitiest Barbera I have ever tasted. Some minerality. Oak on the finish, also maybe a touch of sweetness (still dry, but sweeter than expected,a little too much). No real earth notes. Tannins are in check, I think its ok to go now, but not very Barbera-like. Drinkable, but, I don't know... This really tastes like sweet cream.

Very similar to prior bottle except that I get a little more green on the taste. Very creamy.
