Dark garnet color; medium bodied. Nose is OK, tastes better than you might think from the nose. Earthy, plum-y, nicely balanced, nice finish. A good straighforward wine for a casual dinner.

Drank this 9 months ago and liked it more then. Found it a bit thick this time. But I have drinking a lot of Beaujo lately. Still, another great KLWM Languedoc wine.

This is really good, great QPR. Bouquet of cassis, blueberry, smoked meat, game, garrigue, mint and subtle oak nuances. Essentially a ripely fruited medium bodied wine. Spot on balance in terms of texture, acid and tannin. Long finish with a hint of dried herbs, chocolate and mint really does it for me. It's fairly modern and clean, but also has that classic French complexity and balance. Has the polish and balance of a wine that could cost double the price.

Earthy plum on the nose. Ripe flavors on the attack, featuring well-defined dusty berry, cocoa, and pencil lead. Loses points for a hollow midpalate and abrupt finish that maybe a bit more time in bottle will help resolve. Overall impression is a modern, showy, fun and easy to drink wine that would be great for a party or bbq.

At it aging point. This wine reminds of why the Pic has been elevated to AOC. Lovely and complex just the right balance between rustic and fruit.
