Uncles Fine Wine Club’s - Spontaneous wine tasting event at Tords: Surprisingly tertiary on both the nose and the palate. This is “only” a 17 year old wine, and even though it is not the top Barolo selection, the producer is highly renown and the Nebbiolo tend to age well from all over the area. Tar, leather and animalistic. Dried fruit and heavy dark roasted Robusta.

Concentrated black fruit aromas with some floral hints. Bold fruit flavors to start, somewhat one dimensional and slightly short. Assertive acidity. 40% Nebbiolo, with Cabernet, Merlot and Barbera. Better in another year or two.

nose: vegetal and raspberry. Taste: cherries and truffles. Finish: smooth and easy; lasts about 15 seconds. A smooth wine with a fresh finish.
