Vibrant violet color. Nose of menthol and poblano pepper. Very minty and full of green pepper in the glass. Still shows plenty of acidity although tannins have greatly resolved. Would be best described as medium bodied at this stage. Still showing off a hint of black cherry as well. Old Merlot from Washington just delivers the goods. This was, I believe the top CC bottling at the time and has held up well for these 15 years.

Dark ruby color. Deep blackcurrant nose, unexpectedly fruity for an 18-year old. Round in the mouth, soft finish.
