  The cork was somewhat saturated but came out whole and was firm. The wine was decanted for 20 minutes and enjoyed over the next 90 minutes. The wine was dark purple, clear and trough off a very small amount of sediment.
  The aroma was strong and intricate. The wine shows beautiful blackberry, cassis, mesquite, fresh earth, and hard stemmed herbs. The nose was great, pure and interesting.
  The tannins were completely resolved and the mouthfeel was elegant, even a bit thin . The flavors were consistent with the aromas, but less interesting and the finish was disappointingly short considering the impressive nose.
