  Maybe a bit older than ideal, but I found it at the back of my Eurocave and was a bit nervous as my only other bottle had been noted on here as flawed. Aside from a little caramel note, the bottle was in great condition. I am not great at finding ways to describe a well made and restrained older Chardonnay, but I shall try it as a slightly ascetic Meursault (my apologies to both Burgundy and Langhe for this shorthand!). We all really enjoyed it, but I wish I had rediscovered this bottle two or three years ago.
