Served too cool - this is really best at around 10C or so. At that temperature it was firing on all cylinders, delivering balance and a full panopoly of aged Chenin flavours.

Notes from memory. Medium dark yellow. Toasty orchard fruit bouquet. Palate follows nose but I picked up a bitter note on final that I'd not experienced with other bottles. Threw out the balance and enjoyment for me tonight. Still very drinkable however.

Medium gold. Apple and orchard fruit bouquet. Round attack with acidity and spicy oak adding interest and texture to the mid-palate. Slight residual sweetness apparent at the end and over into a medium to long final. Very fine and drinking well.

Past its prime, unfortunately as this is a great wine. Slightly oxidized
