Holy Mother of God. Completely taken by surprise by this, and I now have a new favorite qpr red wine. I think I paid $8 for this. Black as petite sirah when poured...this is NOT Spanish tempranillo. Nose could be petite sirah: licorice, lots of herb, dirt. More dirt, herb and lots of spice on the palate, with dried black cherry on the back end. Again, wow. After a run of mediocre wines recently did not at all expect to be blind-sided by this. Will buy by the case. New house wine.

Good, but nothing special. A good bargain at about $8. Letting it breathe helped a lot.
