From a restaurant wine list, it was recommended by the owner and hard to refuse at $50. Deep ruby robe with a youthful appearance and no real bricking at the miniscus. Nice mature bouquet of forest floor, mushrooms and asphalt. Classic Norther Italian wine with reticent dark fruit and plenty with fine balaning acidity and tarry tannins. Slightly austere but not severe. Blanaced and elegant at twelve years of age. Probably drinking at peak now as the remaining fruit is likely to fade hereafter. A nice acompanyment to a fatty dry aged T-bone steak and acoutrements. Certainly the bargain of the wine list.

Interesting - the Teroldego has mellowed nicely, yet is still retaining a lot of its nice sour/power contrast. Very good indeed.
