It’s incredible how well this wine has aged for 20yrs, and held impeccably. I want to say it is peaking now, but heck it may have another 5+ in its window. Beautiful crimson color, slight bricking, with aromas of spice box, anise, toasted oak, cedar, and dusty earth. Reminds me of a nice cinq cepages. Great structure; everything ageing and melding together perfectly as an example of how time can really benefit well crafted wines.

Still drinking beatifully, tannins seem a little more gritty than last bottle but all the bordeaux blend flavor is still there, good finish and balance. Will last longer but just drink'em already!

Enjoyed this bottle, the bordeaux blend aroma's and flavors were quintessentailly present and this bottle still has life. Don't think it needs a decant, ready to drink now.

Very pure aromas of red cherries, a little toasted oak, and some brown spices. Well rounded flavors of cherry and toasty oak. It has all come together in this wine. Drinking great right now. Silky smooth and still has retained acidity and fruit. Finish is amazing and long.

This was a huge surprise. I was sure this would be way over the hill, but it must have been peaking as I opened the bottle. The cork completely disintegrated upon opening and piled into the wine. But, I would never let a little cork get in the way of a good time...The wine was immense. It was dark purplish red with slightly bricked mature edges. The nose was filled with ripe plums and cassis, and smelled distinguished. If served blind, I would have guessed this was a 95 Beringer Private Reserve cab. The taste delivered also (minus the cork bits as decanters weren't available) with tons of rich plum and secondary pencil lead, graphite, and cassis. The finish drove on and on like a meth'd-out truck driver. I was very very impressed with this wine. I have one more bottle, but I'm scared to drink it because it will likely not live up to this bottle...
