Community Tasting Notes (4) Avg Score: 89.9 points

  • Fully mature nose with aromas of green pepper, lavender, liquorice, roast beef, cooked blackberry+strawberry, fig paste, and mushroom soy. Mellow taste with low acidity, soft fruit, melted tannins and smooth texture. In a way enjoyable still, but especially the acidity has lost a significant part of its liveliness since last summer. Drink up.

  • Nicely developed black-fruit aromas with roast beef, liquorice and quite a lot of garrigue. Mid-weight palate with soft tannins and more than decent limestone acidity. There's a bit of sudiste sweetness (particularly sweet liquorice) but still only 12,5% abv. Drinking really well now and would keep for a couple of years more, but not likely to improve.

  • Very pure black fruit to start with. With air, spicy syrah notes appear and after a while, dominates the wine. Soft tannins and high acidity makes the wine somewhat out of balance. Very enjoyable in its purity.
