The nose was delicately floral in a way but also fruity. The flavor spectrum was well covered with some nice dark cherry or cassis with just enough acid to balance.

Unblended Monastrell wine (from the young vines on the estate), aged for 6 months in used French (80 %) and American (20%) barriques. Popped and poured. Deeply ruby red colored wine with a dark purple core and an expressive, spicy bouquet with scents of red and blackberries, violets and a hint of cinnamon. Good depth and intensity on the palate with loads of ripe blackcurrant fruit, elegant tannins and a lush and quite silky mouth feel. Nice, juicy finish. Drink it now and over the next 2-3 years. Very good QPR.
Zeer goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding.

Brick red in the glass with aromas of jammy red fruits. Little attractive through the mid-palate - perhaps some plum flavors. It then fades to a slight earthy feel with fine granular tannins and a surprising middle length finish. The jammy red fruits, unfortunately, destroy this wine for me.

Found this bottle to be more dry tham I remembered. Fruit is more subtle, not in abundance. Still an OK every day red.
