Complex, well made cool climate Right Bank Bdx blend. Blue/red berry fruit with gamey savoury notes and cool climate spice. Smooth soft tannins, plush blue fruit and meaty palate. Good finish. A fine wine.

Plummy and blackcurrant nose with some slight stalkiness. Good complex oak flavours supported the blackberry and blackcurrant palate with dry, chalky tannins leading to a decent finish.

Bordeaux at the Monterey (The Monterey): TCA, musty nose, little fruit and complexity. Flawed.

Berry fruit with savoury notes – blood, spice, herbs, complex. Soft, silky, good acidity, fruit led but savoury coming through as well. Long.
