Still full bodied, and ready to drink now. the fruits have carried thru and blended well with the tannins. Been cellared at 14 degrees for 6 years, so was looked after.

Nose is rich and luxurious, yet also dry and powdery, with notes of chocolate, leather, paprika, and saffron. Palate shows flavours of cherry juice, mixed berry fruit, and black tea. Soft mouthfeel, with sour acid on the mid-palate and dry, woody tannin on the finish. Feels like it's starting to unravel, but it's drinking very well now.

Purchased from Dan's for $30. Lovely (but not big) nose of primary plums and developing chocolate/mocha. The palate doesn't meet the expectation of one of Margaret River's best Shiraz. Medium bodied at best, back palate seems a little too acidic. The balance improved with time out of the bottle, but still a little thin. Long finish however, dark fruits. Buy again? They tell me the '08 is better.

Much better this time round. Consistent with last note but the finish has balanced itself out. Nice drinking.
