Despite ssos, the wine was good to drink. I could see a perfect bottle would be 95+ like some reviewers rated. Never had this wine before so didnt know what to expect. Very powerful and syrupy. Drank like similarly aged Le Pavots.

Enjoyed this wine immensely, and was pushing for top 5 IMO out of about 15. Poured a nice color into the glass, no bricking. This wine does NOT drink like a 2001. It has incredible structure and depth. The fruit is quite youthful blackberry. Powerful, yet elegant. The tannin has more rounded edges. Definitely showing its age from an integration standpoint (that's a good thing!). The finish to this wine is still quite powerful, and brings you back for another "wow, I gotta have some more of that!" This one still has YEARS to go. 2028? If you have this one, you're lucky. Hold or drink.

This bottle is significantly improved over one I opened a few years ago. The tannins are still firm but have softened, and the wine now has that elusive blend of power and elegance that marks the really great Cabs. It needed a solid hour's decant and was better on day 2. This gem is just now coming into it's own, and should have at least 10 years ahead of it.

Great bottle. Dark red color, big fruit, balanced, with a long finish.
Doesn't get much better.

Never heard of this until a friend gave me a bottle. Very enjoyable. Still a lot of life left in this bottle. No visible bricking.
