Rich honey & white flowers (a signature I’ve come to associate with this domaine in my very limited experience), lemon. Really lovely nose: lifted, ‘soars out of the glass’ to use an awful cliche. Rich on the palate, but with perfect balancing acidic freshness. Really nice intensity and drive, dry extract on the finish. This is superb, totally à point.

This is still a very young wine with a pale green gold colour and a nose of white peach, nectarine, apples and lemon with touches of oatmeal and butter. The palate has plenty of strongly constructed fruit held up by an intense and mouth gripping minerality that really defines this wine at the top of the Perrieres tree. The nose and the flavours evolved and changed in balance over dinner like opal in the light yet always there was this attention seeking minerality and grip. Terrific !

Nothing like the previous bottle. Bronzed and obviously premoxed on the nose.

Molto buono, grasso il gusto, cristallino, ma Ganevat ha più personalità.
