Surprisingly good. Pretty classic burg. A nice blend of elegance and rusticity. In a good spot, but also seems like it could still age for 5+ years. A rare burg that is better than the price would indicate.

The last bottle of my 2007's. Opened two hours prior to dinner. Dark fruit on the nose. The palate was dark plums, tobacco and baking spices. The finish was long and smooth. Served alongside marinated grilled tuna.

Even better than the bottle I had 4 months ago. Opened two hours pior to dinner. Dark fruit on the nose. The palate was dark plums, tobacco and baking spices. The finish was long and smooth. Drank alongside a Seasmoke Ten 2013 and this was definitely the superior wine.

We slow ox'd the bottle for two hours before bringing to dinner. It sat another hour while we drank some chardonnay. The nose was dark fruit. The palate was dark plums, some tobacco and baking spices. The finish was moderate to long and very smooth.

Grands Jours de Bourgogne 2014 Day 2: Côte de Nuits 3-18-13: Nose shows rusty Pinot fruit, wheat chex, and flea collar/buckwheat aromas. Palate has nice fruit, smoky horsey plum, tart cherry, with an elegant watery texture.
