Has put on some weight and is less charming than a few years ago. May have closed down. Still very pure in its expression where the fruit is lighter red and with obvious marks from the soil. Leave for a few years.

This has tightened up since last bottle in June last year but still shows great purity of fruit and earthy marks. As usual for Jean Marc Morey the fruit is refined and in the lighter red end of the spectrum and the marks from the soil are pronounced. The tannins are firm and structured. Leave alone for now, will develop nicely with more years laying down. Enjoyed with oven roasted chicken, oven roasted potatoes, a green salad and olive bread on the night of hurrican Sandy. We were very lucky not to lose power.

Second bottle from a case I bought from Aabalat for $24.95/btl. The typical purity of fruit in Jean-Marc's wines shines through here and this is a very expressive wine. There tannins are more pronounced compared to another bottle opened recently and I think this needs some time in the cellar. Delicate, red garden fruit and earthy tones makes for a very enjoyable wine that without a doubt will develop more complexity with age. Lovely stuff.

Lovely, funky nose. Earth, mushrooms, Pinot with age. Soft as a pillow. Ready to go I think.

Starting to come in to its own. Good structure, very firm and tight red fruit. Fine and grippy tannins. Pure fruit as usual. Excellent wine.
