Quite an interesting wine, perhaps my second pinotage ever, and first from South Africa. The wine clearly had volatile acidity problems, but when I looked past that the fruit underneath was wonderful. Blue, red, and black fruits were present, all tannins resolved and a nice mouthfeel left me wishing the VA wasn't so present. This left me wanting to try more South African pinotage. Flawed, even for a person who doesn't mind a little VA, but interesting.
