  Some great baked apple scents show on the nose, really wavering back and forth between red and green baked apples which makes for some interesting complexity. The brown sugar, butter, and clove scents are fully intact too, making the nose enjoyable even on its own. It's delicate on contact with the palate, with caramel and richness showing early on the mid palate. Full acidity rips out of the richness to dry things out on the finish. After the acidity rises, the caramel flavors recede, and remind me more of buttered popcorn flavors. As the apples slowly fade on the finish, the popcorn remains making for an interesting experience.

  Too young. Not showing its potential fully yet, but this one will never be great. This light bodied burgundy has racy acidity that keeps it refreshing, but the light bodied, subdued light red fruit will never let this one become too compelling. Slight tannins for a light bodied wine and substantial acidity need some time. Just not enough density for my palate, but this could become elegant and pair decently with lighter fare. showed some glimpses. hold 1-2 years or decant for a brief period.
