  • Ruby with a violet/purple rim. Nose of mildly spicy/earthy raspberry. In the mouth, shows raspberry and spice, over slightly cocoa earth. Surprisingly firm tannins. Light to medium-bodied, so the balance is a bit off, but there's enough acidity to make it all work. Long finish.

    Great food wine; I understand why people recommend cru Beaujolais for Thanksgiving.
