Hanasowner nailed the notes but I had a slightly higher rating. Exceptional wine with an impressive and intense nose. The nose was remarkable. Wonderful wine 🍷 my lone bottle and I wish I had more. Long finish with dark fruit profile. Amazing experience. Still could go another ten years easy.

Decanted at the restaurant...explosive nose of dark fruit and remains dark in color...plenty of dark fruit, some earthiness and stone...paired fantastically with a Wagyu filet...smooth, medium length finish...definitely in a good spot and perhaps can last another 2-3 years.

No idea if this was a perfect wine like one review said, but no question it was excellent. Some fine tannins and a deep dark color made this feel much younger than 13 years old. What is essentially the first Greer cab shows what a pedigree this plot has. All you could ask for in a Napa cab.

Pop and pour. This was really ready to go. I had fears that this would need a long decant but that wasn’t the case. Very perfumed nose of dark fruits, violets, and earth. Palate was sumptuous and inviting but hedged a bit on the too fruity side. Drank alone, this would have been a bit more pleasing, but we drank this alongside the Greer 2007, which was a little more refined and elegant. Both great wines, but we preferred the Greer.

14.7% alcohol. Decanted. SHOCKING. The best Napa cab I've ever tasted, and I've had them all. Only my second 100 point score in 20 years of notes. So well composed, so perfect in it's delivery of explosive, balanced fruit. I like them a bit young, with fruit that still has vibrancy and nuance built from silky tannin. I opened this with zero expectations to pair with a beautiful flank steak recipe from the Cook's Illustrated Test Kitchen/Chez Wagner. OMG. I'm blown away. I sent an email to Aaron.
