Community Tasting Notes (2) Avg Score: 87.8 points

  • Red, brownish thin edge, high intensity. Developed to mature, medium intensity nose. Dried herbs, roots, dark fruit, oak. Captivating. On the palate, a slight sweetness, medium(+) acidity, medium(+) a bit drying tannins (oak?), full bodied, 14%. Multi faceted, interwoven with noticeable oak, dried herbs, dark a bit jammy fruit, black currant, dark plums. Fills the palate. Surprisingly slim, in all the power and body, nice agile texture. Very good length. Very easy to like.
    Drinks well over three days.

  • Good, but nothing spectacular. CLassic Cab fruit and lots of it, but not much else. Mild tannins and acidity make me think this won't sit for very long.
