Interesting nose and pallet, for me, closer to an aged riesling than an aged montrache. Not much of a white drinker but others seemed to enjoy this quite a bit. I would say this was close to the end of its drinking window and am glad I opened it before it decended down the hill any further.

(From memory, drank during tonight's dinner at Chef's Table in Franklin Lakes, NJ) Pale, glistening light gold with a green tinge. The nose was filled with pure apricot, lemon citrus and light oak spice. The wine was mouth filling, complex, zesty and the flavors continued to mirror the nose. A rich and tasty wine with a lively mineral streak that ended with a long, refreshingly tight, dry finish. This was strikingly balanced and absolutely superb. One of the finest Cali chardonnays I have ever tasted. Not only did it perfectly complement our meal, it even went well with the baked alaska dessert! What a wine, bravo!

- Light gold color and aromas of lemon, hay/straw and geranium. It's balanced with a medium body. Bright texture with a medium finish - Really nice wine oak is present but not overbearing. Easy to drink but not simple citrus elements transition to oak and then acidic finish really good. Also has the stuff to age for another year or two,but is excellent right now.
