Nokkuð dökkur kjarni í víninu. Frekar dökkur litur. Við töldum fyrst að vínið væri 10 ára gamalt eða kannski rétt rúmlega það. Síðar kom í ljós að það var mikil vanáætlun. Þegar var þefað af víninu þá komu strax fram mjög dökk ber. Líka oxun, þétt sýra. Svo sólber, sveitt leður, hangikjöt og reykur. Þegar var svo bragðað á víninu þá mátti greina: Plómur, appelsínur, kaffi og Maggi súputeningur (nauta). Þarna var líka mikill ferskleiki. Gott vín en spurning hversu mikið það á eftir?

Wonderful nose, smokey and dark. Blackberry on the palate, dusty with a silky smooth texture. Medium length. Perfect now. When it was revealed I was surprised as I've only tasted these wines younger - but it seems that 15+ years is what they need to strut their stuff.

Another Saturday at Knightsbridge - mostly blind (Northbrook, IL): Tasted double blind. Lots of dense black fruit aromas and flavors. Seemed very modern to me with lots of allure to start, less interesting on short finish. Others enjoyed this wine far more than I did today.

Purchased from winery. At peak--not much structure left. Translucent ruby with a hint of bricking. Mature nose of fennel and herbs. Medium-bodied, balanced, soft, and full in the mouth, delivering some plummy fruit. Good food wine.

dark red-brown secondary & tertiary wet-earth & fungi aromas fine & delicate med-full body, minute savory flavors, med-complexity, very good harmony with pleasant ending. Takes many hours to open. Enjoyable also on the second & third day.
