This had a very pleasant and appealing bouquet of raspberry, cranberry, blackberry and vanilla aromas. The palate was smooth and round with good acidity and flavors that followed the nose.

APPEARANCE: Light red and light bodied. AROMA: LOads of oak. Can't smell anything else. TASTE: Bitter tannins. Long finish, but also has some heat on the back end.

Quite good. Like most new world Barbera, a little more rounded out and jammy then those from Italy, with nice cranberry and rasberry flavors, along with a little touch of nutmeg and orange peel. Would recommend.
