Apricot/peach and lychee fruit, bergamot. Nice dose of acid so it's not at all cloying. Nothing that distinctive or memorable though vs other great Loire dessert wines I've tried

This bottle had a nose of fresh sawdust from a newly cut down tree, with recently applied lacer or varnish. Very odd. Palate was a bit better, but this had to be an off bottle.

(Domaine Philippe Delesvaux Coteaux du Layon Sélection de Grains Nobles) Nice grapey, almond nose; good concentrated grape, hazelnut mid-palate with a long nutty finish

Served alongside 01 Yquem and others, this stood out as deeply nuanced.
