  • This Magic Moment, Sweeter than Wine, Softer than a Summer's Nite; 7/29/2022-8/23/2022 (Alicante - España): Snacking with birra Moretti. Open bottle for lunch. Decent cork in good condition. Deep yellow colour. Aromatically complex but precise with elegant notes of hawthorn flowers, orange blossom, white pears, pineapple yogourt, lead mineral powder or candied lemon rind. On the palate it is delicious, balance between an oily texture and a citric acidity. Very long stony finish. Mineral and citric aftertaste.
Although the classic recommendation is to drink this ripe bottle of Pacherenc with old goose foie grass, spicy pasta with prawns and Norwegian prawns has worked perfectly.
Below 90 points, alright. Lovely buddies, please don’t score under alcohol effects. By the way after this magnificent bottle, time to review some 2003 Montus Madiran Cuveé Prestige.

Aperitivos con birra Moretti. Botella abierta para el almuerzo. Corcho decente en buenas condiciones. Color amarillo profundo.

  • 4 - Deep gold. Very nutty, cooked pears, apricots. Mineral. Citrus still. Long finish

  • Complex nose of dried tropical fruits and waxy bruised apples. So much less fruit on the palate now than from previous bottles and most of that early freshness has given way to a complex, super dry, textured finish. This was not the most expressive of bottles, but it will be interesting to see if this goes anywhere from here.

  • Excellent, exotique, riche et complexe!

  • This one is way much better both in terms of bouquet and palate comparing with a 1998 Domaine Michel Juillot Corton-Charlemagne whcih I tried 1 week ago.
Golden color, bouquet of lily flower perfume, rich and ripe apple, stone fruit & dried mango. The palate is also very good, all about balance, complexity and length.
